In two weeks the opening of the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Toshiba has had the good idea to unveil its new smartphone that should make quite a noise. The TG01 is a mobile on Windows Mobile 6.1 integrates a 4.1-inch screen and a processor clocked at 1 GHz!
Toshiba has surf the smartphone market is currently experiencing strong growth. And it seems that the builder has put many advantages on his side, with first design with clean lines not exceeding 1 cm thick. But the TG01 (name not final yet) does not win solely by its design. It has a touch screen Wide-VGA (800 x 480 pixels), the largest market with 4.1 inches (3.5 inches cons for the iPhone and 3.8 inches for the HTC Touch HD). The result should be autaunt more impressive than this phone incorporates the Qualcomm Snapdragon processor clocked at a record speed of 1 GHz, twice the average of current smartphones.
This 100% touch-Mobile runs on Windows Mobile 6.1 and will be upgradeable to the upcoming 6.5. It boasts full connectivity: quad-band GSM, EDGE, 3G +, Bluetooth 2.0 A2DP and WiFi. Not to mention the GPS technology and A-GPS. This course supports mobile memory cards micro SD up to 32GB and integrates a wide range of video formats including DivX.
In other words, the TG01 promises! Besides all the staff of Toshiba believes very strong. The manufacturer hopes to sell 1 million units worldwide.
