LG has used the CES in Las Vegas to introduce the first smartphone based on Intel Moorestown. The LG GW990 is a hybrid terminal halfway between a MID and a telephone. Intel makes its appearance in the world of smartphones by equipping the GW990 its Moorestown processor (45nm engraving).
The terminal LG was presented at CES in Las Vegas. It is a machine running GNU / Linux Moblin with a touch interface S-Class. The LG GW990 has a touchscreen of 4.8 inches for an impressive resolution of 1020 x 480 pixels and a 720p HD TV output. He will be able to play videos in HD and run 3D games. Still photography, the South Korean manufacturer has equipped its aircraft with a 5-megapixel sensor.

The LG GW990 also includes 16 GB of Flash memory and 512 MB of RAM. It has of course a microSD memory slot. Compatibility 3G / 3G +, WiFi and Bluetooth are also present. The LGW990 should be marketed later in the second half of the year. The price has not been announced.
