Like many of its competitors, Lenovo is expected in early 2010 to update its range of netbooks as Intel platform Pine Trail. A first model of this type has already unveiled the IdeaPad S10-3. According to a Chinese commerce site, the Lenovo IdeaPad S10-3 is equipped with an Intel Express NM10, a Pineview Atom processor N450 (1.66 GHz), 2GB DDR2 RAM, a hard disk SATA 250 GB 5400 rpm, a chipset Intel GMA X3150 graphics, a screen 10.1”WSVGA LED Backlight with a resolution of 1024 × 600, a 0.3 megapixel webcam with microphone, a card reader, 2 speakers and ports 3G, GPS, Wi-Fi, VGA, Headphone, Microphone, Ethernet and USB 2.0 (x3).
The presence or absence of a Bluetooth module is not confirmed. Item strange, self-announced Windows 7 is 2 to 3 hours, which is – hopefully quickly – probably a mistake on the site. The photo illustration is it a IdeaPad S10-2, therefore caution that side. Of course, the Lenovo IdeaPad S10-3 might benefit from the same design, but nothing is certain.
The IdeaPad S10-3 will not be the only Netbook Lenovo to receive an Intel platform Pine Trail. This is also true of the IdeaPad S10-3t which one can only assume, to the presence of a “t” in his reference, he will have a touchscreen multi-touch. The price of the Lenovo IdeaPad S10-3 as its exact release date are currently unknown.
