The new BlackBerry Desktop Manager facilitates data synchronization between Mac applications and BlackBerry smartphones. It will be available for download for free from October 2.
Research In Motion (RIM) will please the Mac (OS 10.5.5 or higher) in search of a solution for synchronizing contacts, appointments, tasks and other notes with their BlackBerry (OS 4.2 or higher) : A new version of BlackBerry Desktop Manager has been developed specifically for them.
This new software for desktop computer will be available for free download at www.blackberry.com / mac from Friday, October 2 at 19h. The new BlackBerry Desktop Manager allows Mac users to synchronize data from Mac applications like iCal, Address Book, Microsoft Entourage, etc.., Or add and remove applications, schedule automatic backups, encrypting backup files and install updated software on their BlackBerry smartphone.
The BlackBerry Desktop Manager also integrates BlackBerry Media Sync, with which Mac users can sync their iTunes music collections with their BlackBerry smartphone.
