The bottom is flat, two air vents are present. The battery is very well integrated into the chassis. An optional 3G module and processor Pineview Atom N455 (1.6 GHz) and Pineview Atom N475 (1.83 GHz) in a few months should also be offered. These CPUs expected for 3rd quarter 2010 (more info here) differ from Atom N450 and N470 from supporting DDR3.
What makes us also think that the new generation ION offers better performance with DDR3. As a result, we expect to see land in the second half of the Asus models equipped with Atom N475/N455 ION new generation.
To return to the Asus Eee PC 1018P, on the left side are present on the VGA, USB 2.0, Kensington and attaches right to the card reader 4 in 1, the audio ports, two USB and Ethernet. Its design is fine and brushed aluminum finish is really nice finish that is also found on the palm rest. It is the netbook Eee PC as it had strong hands, with an excellent keyboard chiclet.
