Acer Unveils Two Laptops Type Acer AS5740 and Acer AS7740. The announcements of the latest models with Intel processors continue to flourish at the CES 2010. Type is Acer AS5740 and Acer AS7740. It’s now the turn of Acer unveiled the first wave of laptops under i5 Core or Core i3.
Start with the Acer AS5740, a model 15.6 inches with a slab WXGA HD (1366 × 768) and equipped with an Intel Core i5-430M with an ATI graphics card Mobility Radeon HD5650. This is from the new range ATI officially presented this morning.
The RAM can reach 4 GB, HDD 640 GB The AS5740 also features a DVD burner, an integrated webcam and of course all the connections needed daily (Wi-Fi 802.11 n, Ethernet, HDMI and USB x4).
The second model, the Acer AS7740 receives for its part, Intel Core i3-330M chipset with integrated graphics GMA HD. As his reference suggests, it features a 17.3-inch slab (1600 × 900). Full HD resolution would have been appreciated, however, to fully enjoy the Blu-Ray. The connection is similar to the AS5740.
Tariffs will be apriori quite affordable, the AS5740 is available from 750 dollars against 600 dollars for the AS7740.
